Your time is precious, especially when you spend it making a difference in the world. Heifer volunteers play a vital role in the global effort to end hunger and poverty and care for the Earth. You can apply to become a volunteer 1. Residential Volunteers temporarily move to the area and/or live on-site and dedicate months, even an entire year, to full-time volunteering. 2. Part-time Volunteers live off-site and the time commitment required depends on the specific position (3-6 months). 3. Public Event / Special Project Volunteers live off-site and the time commitment required depends on the specific position. You can apply at one or more of the three Learning Centers 1. Heifer Village in Little Rock, Arkansas 2. Heifer Ranch in Perryville, Arkansas 3. Overlook Farm in Rutland, Massachusetts TO SEARCH the open volunteer positions click above the tab titled Find a Position. You can choose either: 1. Show All Openings which will show ALL open volunteer positions at ALL three Learning Centers. 2. Search Openings which will allow you to narrow your search by category. TO APPLY after you have selected which volunteer position you are interested in - click the link Apply to the left of the position title.
